Product Design

Course summary

Students will complete a design and manufacture task in their preferred media (textile, resistant material or graphic media) and, through this, learn about advanced design and innovation skills and the significance of design process. Students will enhance their understanding of material properties and manufacturing techniques and will gain insight into real-world design for problem solving. The ethics of design and sustainability issues around manufacturing and consumerism are essential components of the course, helping to develop insightful and analytical students.
