English literature comprises 80% external examination and 20% non examination assessment. Students will study a variety of texts across the genres of poetry, prose and drama. These include: Dystopian fiction; 20th Century American literature; Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'; the poetry of Christina Rossetti.
