A fully qualified driving instructor approved by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency will take you through a 4-week course which will give you some understanding of the controls within a car, how to change a tyre and help and support towards the driving theory test. If you are 17 and hold a provisional licence, you will also have the opportunity to practise driving a car.
