Theatre Studies is a demanding A level, being both academic and practical. You should be someone who enjoys performing, as well as writing critical evaluations of play texts plus having the academic rigour of research into theatrical theory. The course will involve taking part in devised and scripted drama productions, as well as studying plays and playwrights. These include monologues, duologues and small group work based on well known dramatists.
