With a T Level in Education & Early Years, you’ll spend three days a week learning from our fantastic Childcare staff. The other two days will be spent on placement in an early years setting, providing you valuable work experience and insight into your chosen field as you put what you learn into practice. This fantastic T Level course will extend your knowledge in a range of topics including child behaviour and language acquisition, how a child develops, the role in which the family and support agencies work in relation to a child, safeguarding and special educational needs. You’ll also learn and build on becoming a reflective practitioner which is key when working in education and early years. As part of studying Education & Early Years, you’ll complete a First Aid course so you’re ready to work in the childcare industry as soon as you graduate. You'll complete 750 hours workplace to prepare you and develop key employability skills. This is timetabled at 2 days per week.
5 GCSEs at grade 4. These should include English Language. GCSE Maths is required at grade 3 or above. Grade 4 in Maths.
