Entry requirements

- Grade 8 or 9 in GCSE Maths and successful completion of the Induction test. - At least a grade 5 in English (Language or Literature) and 4 in mathematics, or a grade 5 in mathematics and 4 in English (Language or Literature); - A minimum GCSE Best 8 Point Score of 35.

How you'll be assessed

Further Maths students will study the full A Level Maths course in Year 12 and are expected to take the examination in the summer of Year 12. They will then complete the whole Further Maths course in Year 13. Each of the 4 units is assessed with a 1 hour 30 minutes examination, and worth (25%) of the A Level.
