All students in the sixth form at Netherhall have the opportunity to complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). This qualification allows students to carry out in-depth research in an area of interest to them. By completing the qualification, they develop and demonstrate their project management skills and have opportunities for extended writing. It is highly valued by universities and employers. We have had some wonderful projects in the past, on themes as diverse as electrical engineering, photography, plant-based diet, gymnastics, and e-sports. Students can tailor their projects to their individual needs, choices, and aspirations. The outcome of the project can be a design, performance, report, dissertation, or artifact. Students undertaking the project have the full support of a dedicated and experienced EPQ tutor.
