A Level in Biology A allows students to develop relevant practical skills alongside essential knowledge and understanding of a range of biological concepts and scientific methods. Biological mathematics and problem-solving skills can be fully integrated into teaching and learning.
- A minimum of 8 full course GCSEs. These must include at least 4 at grade 6 and 4 at grade 5. A minimum of grade 5 in English language and mathematics. To study four full A levels, a minimum of 8 full course GCSEs to include at least 4 at grade 8 and 4 at grade 7. - 7 in Biology GCSE OR minimum 7-7 Combined Science OR grade 6 in Biology GCSE (6-6 Combined Science) with a grade 7 in Mathematics GCSE.
