Studying Spanish opens a wide range of possibilities in the future. The thing that I enjoy most about Spanish is its culture: dances, food, and music and also its history because I believe it’s quite captivating to learn about. Learning Spanish at A-level has given me the ability to critically look at both sides of the story because there are many different viewpoints which is a transferrable skill, and it also made me improve on my communication skills. Next year I hope to utilise my foreign language advantage and take a gap year in order to travel. Modules titles: During the two-year A-level course in modern foreign languages, you will undertake the following topics: Theme 1: La evolución de la sociedad española. Theme 2: La cultura política y artística en el mundo de habla Theme 3: La inmigración y la sociedad multicultural española. Theme 4: La dictadura franquista y la transición a la democracia.
