Chemistry is the central science and overlaps other science areas. We build on skills from GCSE science and then throughout the course, we emphasize the need to explain and understand things that happen either in the outside world or in a test tube! Chemistry is a valuable A Level for entry into a wide range of careers. Most of our A Level chemistry students enter higher education. Students must consider Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Chemical Sciences, and Forensic Science, to study Chemistry, but many other degree courses view Chemistry as a desirable subject.
5 GCSEs at Grades 4-9, including 7-7 or better in GCSE science (Grade 6 Considered by deparment), 6+ in GCSE maths and 4+ in GCSE English.
