During this course, you will cover the following: - Constructing masonry cladding - Constructing cavity walling forming masonry structures - Constructing solid walling incorporating isolated and attached piers - Constructing thin joint masonry - Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries - Set out masonry structures - Understanding construction technology - Understanding information, quantities and communication with others You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience alongside your course.
You should have successfully completed a level 1 Bricklaying qualification or have achieved a grade 4 or above in English and maths.
During this course, you'll be assessed through an end of year exam and practical synoptic exercise.
