You will cover the following units: - Engineering health and safety - Engineering principles - Principles of mechanical manufacturing engineering - Machining materials by turning - Detailed fitting of materials - Produce drawings using CAD
You should have four GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and science and a grade 5 in maths.
You will be assessed by an exam and will also undertake a synoptic project, where you will design and make a product. Formative assessments will take place throughout the year to help you develop your skills and knowledge.
