A Level Mathematics is an interesting and challenging course which extends the methods you learned at GCSE and includes Statistics and Mechanics. A Level Mathematics is fun and rewarding. It broadens your mathematical skills and promotes deeper mathematical thinking. You will be introduced to interesting new areas of pure mathematics such as calculus and you will apply mathematics in a wider range of contexts.
To take three subjects at Post-16 you will need to have achieved 5-7 GCSEs at Grade 4/5 or above including Maths and English. To take four subjects at Post-16 you will need to have achieved 6 GCSEs at Grade 6 or above including Maths and English.
