A course rooted in Spanish-speaking culture and current affairs, where you will develop your understanding and fluency in Spanish. Debates and discussions in the classroom will give you a broad perspective and in-depth knowledge on a wide range of issues about Hispanic society. Native-speaking Language Assistants in the Modern Languages department are available to support you with small group conversation work. Studying a foreign language will equip you with a range of skills that are invaluable in the world of work. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of Spain and Spanish-speaking countries.
