A Level Computer Science allows you to explore computational thinking methods, programming and the theory behind the subject, giving you the skills to succeed in Higher Education or in the workplace. Computer Science is an ever advancing field which makes it a highly interesting subject to study and is very sought after in modern day industry. This is due to the fact that technology is always changing, what is relevant one year might not be the next so you will need to stay on top of current trends to help you with your understanding. Technology makes up a large portion of the United Kingdom’s economy and we are heading through a digital revolution. Computer Science allows you to be part of the future as well as preparing you with skills for jobs that haven’t even yet been created. The concept of A Level Computer Science is closely linked to Mathematics and Physics. Studying these A Levels will complement the course and help underpin your understanding of the subject.
