Course summary

A level chemistry is divided between two teachers. Students will have one teacher for the organic chemistry topics, and one teacher for the physical and inorganic chemistry topics. The first 2 topics for each teacher (roughly the first half term) are designed to get students up to speed with their chemistry knowledge and build upon what they learn at GCSE. Each topic title is taken from the AQA Specification for A Level Chemistry.

Entry requirements

6 GCSE's at grade 4-9.

How you'll be assessed

You will be assessed through a final external examination at the end of the course. The exam will consist of 3 written papers of 2 hours duration.
