This course will give you the opportunity to analyse a range of interesting and challenging films using different critical approaches, and to learn about the way the film industry works. You will explore: • 1 classical and 1 new Hollywood film • 1 mainstream and 1 independent American film from 2005 onwards • 2 British films from 1995 onwards • 1 European film and 1 film produced outside of Europe • 1 documentary film • 1 silent film or group of films • experimental film. You will also be able to create your own short film or screenplay.
Grades 9-4 in English and four or more GCSEs at grades 9-4.
