Studying Psychology gives students an insight into the working of the human mind and how this affects aspects of our everyday lives. It will inform students about the methods that psychologists use. The A level qualification is assessed by three examinations which are taken at the end of the two-year course. Each paper is an assessed written exam with a mixture of multiple choice, short answers, and extended writing answers (essays).
A minimum of grades 5 in GCSE English, Maths and Science would be accepted to start this course. An interest in human behaviour is a must.
There are three papers and all three will be examined at the end of the year. Each paper is 2 hours long.
