Drama & Theatre Studies A-Level looks at the practices and theories of classical and contemporary playwrights, directors and practitioners of drama. The course aims to develop an awareness of a range of theatre notables through the observation and analysis of existing and emerging performance work, and practical exploration of texts and practitioner techniques. The course encourages a critical and creative response to the complexities of theatre from the perspectives of actor, designer and director.
At least five 5s at GCSE, including at least a 6 in English Language or English Literature.
