Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and human behaviour. Psychologists observe and conduct experiments to find out more about the way people act and interact. They try to understand what motivates, challenges or changes us and use this understanding to help us tackle personal and social problems. A Level Psychology is a two-year course, which prepares students for the OCR specification examination.
6 in Psychology GCSE and 5 in English. If you have not studied Psychology at CSE, you must have a 5 in another Humanities subject.
The course is externally assessed by three 2 hour written examinations at the end of Year 13. There is no coursework.
