The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a beauty therapist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as a beauty therapist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Throughout this qualification, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and client care. Learners who complete the course will be able to progress onto either employment or onto Level 4 in Salon Management.
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English or maths, or prior achievement at Level 2 Functional Skills in English or maths. A merit or higher at vocational Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 may be considered as a GCSE equivalent. Specific subjects may also require science and/or English or maths at GCSE grade 5 or above.
You will be assessed through written assignments, exams, observation and questioning.
