Course summary

The course consists of 3 main sections. Pure maths builds on the algebra, graphs and trigonometry studied at GCSE as well as an introducing calculus for the first time. Mechanics considers both forces and objects in motion whilst statistics covers techniques to collect and analyse data. Studying A level Mathematics helps students develop a logical approach to problem-solving, as well as their mathematical knowledge and skills.
