Course summary

Health and Social Care provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to work in hospitals, schools, social care settings or continue into higher education. This course can open up a whole range of job opportunities in both health and social care which can offer more than 300 distinct career pathways. The health and social care sector employ almost 4 million people across the UK and since the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a sector which is growing on an almost daily rate. Studying health and social care at SBU also provides opportunities for you to develop clinical skills in our clinical area and engage with a whole host of employers.
