Course summary

Psychology is the study of the human mind, its complex processes and the behaviour that you see around you every day. Have you ever wondered why we forget things that we have spent so long trying to remember? What kinds of behaviour are abnormal and why do they occur? How we can successfully manage our stress levels? Why we are attracted to some people, but not others? Why we are obedient to figures of authority? What effects violence in the media is having on children and their aggression levels? Studying Psychology will provide you with ways in which these questions have been researched. If you have a naturally enquiring mind and you are interested in the human brain and behaviour, then Psychology could be the right choice for you.
