Course summary

Students will study aspects of French-speaking society and current trends, in particular the changing nature of families, cyber society, and voluntary work. Also, they will study the positive features of diversity, the life of the marginalized, and how criminals are treated. Students will study artistic culture in the French-speaking world (heritage, contemporary Francophone music, cinema) and aspects of political life in the French-speaking world including teenager’s right to vote and political commitment, demonstrations and strikes, politics, and immigration.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements for our Level 3 courses are a grade 6 or above in the subject you are wishing to study, alongside a grade 5 or above in Maths and English.

How you'll be assessed

Paper 1 50% (listening, reading, and writing). Paper 2 20% (writing). Paper 3 30% (speaking).
