Course summary

If you're 16-19 years old and you want to work as an electrician in the building services industry then this course is for you. Designed to deliver a high level of occupational skills, this course will provide you with the platform from which to progress further into a Level 3 T Level or help you take a step towards being a competent electrician. You'll be required to complete a 315-hour work placement as part of your study program while you gain an understanding of the skills required within the electrotechnical sector by studying units such as scientific principles, installation of wiring systems and enclosures, and electrical installations technology. Through this course, you'll work with local employers who will contribute to the knowledge and delivery of training and provide demonstrations and talks on the industry.
