5 grade 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English. Grade 6 in GCSE PE with a Grade 6 on the theory paper. Students must be able to either perform at a high level or coach in minimum of one sport.
2 year course 3 written exams (70%) 1 practical moderation & 1 piece of coursework (30%) AO1: Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and understanding of physical activity. AO2: Candidates should demonstrate the ability to apply skills, knowledge and understanding in physical activity. AO3: Candidates should demonstrate the ability to analyse and evaluate critically physical activity. AO4: Candidates should demonstrate skills & techniques in physical activity & sport, as well as analysing & evaluating performance
