They will explore the emergence and development of the UK’s democratic system and the similarities, differences, connections and parallels between direct and indirect democracy. • Component 2 – UK Government - Introduces students to the set of rules governing politics in the UK, the UK Constitution, which is different from the majority of the world. • Component 3 – Comparative Politics (Global theme) - Global politics allows students to develop an understanding of the local, national, international, and global dimensions of political activity.
A minimum of a grade 3 in both English Language and Mathematics GCSE. Grade 5 in both English and a Humanities GCSE.
