This qualification gives you the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in the music industry, by developing your performance and creative skill, utilising the recording and production environment.
Grade 6+ or equivalent Music or Grade 6+ or equivalent Music Technology - Minimum entry requirements for the A Level route are Maths and English preferably at grade 5 equivalent or above
Split into Mandatory and Optional components, all units are coursework based with an externally assessed piece set by the exam board. These units will explore the use of studio equipment and mixing software with the aims to create music through recording and synthetic design.
