This course is for students who wish to pursue a career in any of the Health or Social Care services focusing on individuals different care needs that they have, at different times throughout their lives. Studying this course provides learners with an in-depth study of this sector, the structure and provision of Health and Social Care services in England, in addition to investigating many different roles available within the sector. The course encompasses academic challenge and rigour through examination and coursework, while also offering students a practical, high quality work placement (100 hours required over the two year course as part of their assessment). This provides them with invaluable knowledge and experience of working in the Health and Social Care sector.
