Course summary

Psychology gives a fascinating insight into the human mind and tries to explain people’s behaviour. Have you ever wondered why some people conform and others don’t, or why some people suffer from mental health problems? Why some people are scared of spiders whilst others are scared of heights? Whether serial killers are born or develop due to society? This is your opportunity to find out. Topics studied include schizophrenia, forensic psychology, child development and obedience.

Entry requirements

5 grade 4s across all GCSE subjects which must include a grade 4 in either GCSE English or Mathematics. Grade 5 in a GCSE Science component and Grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics or GCSE Statistics.
