Course summary

A Level of Physics involves you attempting to understand the world around you. You will find out how 3D glasses work, why fluorescent materials look brighter, how we have our wavelength, what superconductors are used for and the amazing way that forces work to keep us alive! You will learn to apply Physics concepts to practical problem-solving. Theory is developed through a large variety of practical experiences and demonstrations.

Entry requirements

GCSE Physics Grade 6 or Combined Science (Trilogy) Grade 6-6. Plus GCSE Mathematics Grade 6. If you are planning on studying more than one Science at A Level, we recommend that you have Grade 7’s in these at GCSE.
