Studying A Level Textiles provides a worthwhile, satisfying and complete course of study, which broadens experience, develops imagination, fosters creativity and promotes personal and social development. Critical, practical and theoretical study in textile art and design are purposefully integrated to provide exciting, challenging and meaningful learning experiences.
1. Achieved a minimum of 5 standard passes (grade 4) at GCSE. 2. Secured at least a grade 5/6 at GCSE in the subject that the student wishes to study at Post 16 or the same grade in a related subject where it has not been previously studied at GCSE (please refer to the table below for additional specific subject requirements). 3. Have demonstrated, through their previous education career, the level of self-motivation and commitment, including a positive attendance record, required for Post 16 study.
