Course summary

A-Level Further Mathematics is comprised of ½ Compulsory Pure Maths with ½ made up of the best two of Additional Pure Maths, Mechanics and Statistics.

Entry requirements

9 - 4 grades in 5 GCSE subjects (generally including Maths & English*) including 9 - 6 in at least 3 GCSE subjects. At least GCSE grade 8 in Maths. The standard of this course is high. If you intend on studying Further Maths, you should also choose to study Maths. Further Mathematics students often choose to complete four A-levels but this is not assumed.
