• 5+ GCSEs at grades 9-4 including a strong pass (grade 5) in English and maths • Grade 6 in Maths entry requirement to study Maths A Level • Grade 6 in Science and maths recommended to study Biology, Chemistry and Physics A Levels. Students must have sat the higher tier papers for Science and Maths. * The option to take 4 A’ Level courses will be made only in exceptional circumstances.
• Written exam: 2 hours - total of 80 marks, 20% of A Level • One writing, listening, reading exam: 2 hrs 30 minutes - total 100 marks, 50% of A Level • Oral exam: 23 minutes - total of 20 marks, 30% of A Level
