Course summary

A-level Mathematics is one of the most widely accepted subjects by universities. Studying it should give you a head start in the admissions process and may mean that you have a better chance of being admitted onto the course of your choice. It is a highly respected A-level subject which demonstrates that a student can think logically and solve problems. These are skills which are particularly valued by employers. Even if you decide to study an arts degree at university, having an A-level Mathematics qualification on your CV can be a great advantage in your future career.

Entry requirements

- GCSE Mathematics Grade 7 Minimum - A minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above, and two GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade 5 or above.

How you'll be assessed

All content is examined. Three exams will be taken at the end of year 13.
