Geography helps you to make sense of the world around you. It is hands on, it is relevant and it is fun. Geography will help you get to grips with some of the big questions which affect our world and understand the social, economic and physical forces and processes which shape and change our world. There are so many ways of learning in Geography. It is very practical with opportunities to learn new skills such as computer based mapping (called GIS), map skills, interpreting images, fieldwork skills, presenting, role playing and debating techniques. Students will acquire a comprehensive knowledge of both physical and human geography in addition to completing external fieldwork.
• GCSE Grade 6 or above in Geography is required to study this subject at A-level. • A minimum of four grades at 6 or above at GCSE • A grade 5 or higher in GCSE English • A grade 5 or higher in GCSE Mathematics
