Why should I choose this subject? • I enjoy studying History and how it affects our understanding of the world as it is today. • I enjoy thinking and discussing different points of views and would like to be able to argue convincingly and spot the weaknesses in other people’s arguments, in writing as well as in discussion. • I want to learn how to research and to extract information from a variety of primary and secondary sources. History is very highly regarded by universities and employers. A-Level History has enabled students to study Law, Journalism, Management, Teaching and many other subjects.
We would like you to get a 6 or better in History at GCSE.
• A-Level examination papers will cover content from both Part One and Part Two. • Historical Investigation – non-examined assessment.
