Entry requirements

• A grade 4 or above in English Language and Literature, Mathematics and Science is also required. • Note: If you are considering a career in Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Radiography or Occupational Therapy, a 5 or above in Science, English and Mathematics at GCSE is needed for entry to these courses at university.

How you'll be assessed

• You will learn about what affects people’s health and well-being, and how the Health and Social Care services meet their needs. • The content of the course is varied and covers many different subject areas. • You will be assessed using a combination of external examinations, complete of a task conducted in supervised conditions and coursework.
