Course summary

The BTEC National Extended Certificate in Applied Psychology gives students the opportunity to study Psychology within a vocational framework. The qualification provides the knowledge, understanding and skills that will prepare students for further study or training. It gives full time students an opportunity to progress onto apprenticeships, higher education or to enter employment through developing a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. The National Extended Certificate (equivalent to one A-level) consists of three mandatory units and one optional unit chosen by the college.
