The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is an intensive two year course that covers fundamental aspects of performing arts training. The course is delivered by knowledgeable and experienced staff in our brand new state-of-the-art facilities. Learners will develop skills in all three disciplines of dance, acting and singing as well as gaining understanding of the performing arts industry.
The course consists of 13 units, 4 of which are externally assessed. A range of mandatory units consolidating the disciplines are delivered and assessed in the first year alongside specialised technique units. In the second year learners will acquire and develop new skills and knowledge related to audition preparation alongside applying your techniques to a range of performances leading up to your full scale musicals. Assessment methods range from practical performances through to controlled assessment preparation culminating in a written examination.
