Course summary

You will learn a number of skills including the use of evidence to support your arguments, how to investigate facts, and critical thinking. It is relevant to the society you live in so you are bound to enjoy learning about topics that are relevant to everyday life; plus it opens the door to a fantastic range of interesting careers.

Entry requirements

You will need to have 5 GCSE’s at grade 5-9 and a grade 5 in English GCSE to gain entrance to the course.

How you'll be assessed

At A-level there are three exams, each account for one-third of your A-level. The three exams last 2 hours and are worth 80 marks each. The exams consist of a mixture of short answer and extended writing questions.
