The Cambridge Technicals Sport and Physical Activity Level 3 Extended Diploma provides an exciting opportunity if you have a passion for sport and are interested in how excellence in coaching and leadership can be developed. You will follow a vocationally specific qualification, which will develop a range of personal skills, and knowledge that will be essential for successful performance in working life. You will study a range of topic areas, which will require you to participate practically as well as research and produce written responses to work related assignment briefs.
• Five subjects at grade 4 or above, including English and maths. • Studying either GCSE PE or a vocational qualification in sport would also be beneficial.
The course is assessed through both coursework and exams. Your skills and knowledge will be assessed through practical tasks written coursework presentations and teacher observation and two exams at the end of a unit. This is a single award (360 Guided Learning Hours).
