This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills that will prepare you for either employment or higher education. Students will gain both practical and theoretical knowledge which will promote opportunities for careers in the hair and beauty sector. Following this course will enable you to explore your creative ability using styling and colouring techniques and improve your communication, teamwork and customer service skills. This qualification will give you the required theoretical and practical knowledge in Beauty Therapy. There are two parts to this course. In year 1 you will complete beauty therapy and in year 2 you will have the option of level 3 massage, level 3 nail technology or Level 3 beauty therapy make-up.
Standard entry requirements. Individual discussions for students who do not meet the standard entry requirements are welcomed. (Maths or English resit considered).
Learners will need to be committed and have the motivation to work salon hours to meet the different assessment requirements
