This course aims to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of how different factors combine in varying ways to influence the quality of performance in a variety of physical activities. A student’s performance will also be improved through practice, analysis and evaluation. The course allows students to ‘play to their strengths’ and develop dynamic theoretical and practical skills. There are close links to Biology, Psychology and Physics through the range of topics covered during the course.
• GCSE Grade 6 or above in the sciences and a Level 6 or above English and Mathematics. • A minimum of four grades at 6 or above at GCSE • A grade 5 or higher in GCSE English • A grade 5 or higher in GCSE Mathematics • A minimum of a grade 6 at GCSE in the subject you wish to study (if the subject is offered at GCSE)
