The Extended Certificate is for learners who are interested in learning about the performing arts industry alongside other fields of study that the 6th form has to offer at Holyrood. The course will harness your individual creativity, skill and talent through completing a variety of units that encompass the knowledge and understanding required to become successful as a performer.
- (4 grade 4s or equivalent preferably including English or Maths).
Work is continually assessed throughout the course in a variety of ways including internally assessed performance, research, and development logs and externally assessed set tasks. Students can achieve either a Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction* in Performing Arts which is equivalent to 1 whole A Level.
