Mathematics is a challenging but worthwhile course, which can provide you with the skills and problem-solving capability required in a rapidly changing world. The course in Mathematics will develop mathematical problem-solving skills through use of mathematical argument, language and proof and enable students to apply these skills to mathematical modelling. Students will explore three main areas of Mathematics; Pure Mathematics, Mechanics and Statistics.
