Economics is therefore the study of everything that improves or worsens our quality of life. Economics is anywhere and everywhere. It is the study of the world we live in. It forms it, improves it, and makes us what we are today. It is about why we are wealthy and how and why we might be even more (or possibly less) wealthy in the future. If you are looking at the world around you, Economics will explain what you see; the way we use the scarce resources that the planet has given us. Economics is an excellent complimentary subject.
