In A Level Business, we explore the world of business, in year one we look at the reason businesses exist, business ownership, shareholders, aims and objectives and then delve into the functional areas of the business including marketing, finance, human resources and operations, developing an understanding of their key importance and how they are interconnected. In year two we explore business strategy, how businesses position themselves in the market, how they pursue strategies and how they manage strategic change. Lots of real-world examples are brought into the classroom to help you connect with the theory. The focus of the course is helping you to become a good decision-maker and be aware of how decisions can impact key business areas.
