Course summary

Ever wondered, what is the Universe made of? If protons are positive and neutrons are neutral, why doesn’t the nucleus fly apart? How did the Universe begin? What exactly is an electron? What is antimatter? How do you target a cannon? How do TVs work? How do we know the age of the Earth or the Universe? Why do hospitals do with 50% of the worlds particle accelerators? Could scientists at CERN create a black hole? Why is there 0% chance that the world will be destroyed if it does? What is going on in that picture on the left (particularly the weird scale)? These are the questions we answer as we explore a vast range of topics including particles physics, electricity, mechanics, waves, materials, nuclear physics, space and many more.
